I take this stuff for granted. But today I realized how big this is for clients. I guess I always knew. But this afternoon I experienced a "moment of truth." Upon signing of a Settlement Agreement, I noticed the parties got quiet and teary eyed. Grown adults crying at the table. What a huge moment for them.
