Realizing How Big My Job Really Is

I take this stuff for granted. But today I realized how big this is for clients. I guess I always knew. But this afternoon I experienced a "moment of truth." Upon signing of a Settlement Agreement, I noticed the parties got quiet and teary eyed. Grown adults crying at the table. What a huge moment for them. And if I had not noticed - what a routine moment for me !!
I have to remember how important this stuff is for clients. It is easy to become hardened. But the truth is: this is a really big, important job that I do.
